Community Volunteer Fair in the Park This Thursday! Drop by Keep It Blue in ’22 this Thursday, August 25, from 5:00-7:00pm at Creston Park, picnic groves E and F, in SE Portland. There’ll be speakers and campaign staffers to help plug you into a range of volunteer activities as we gear up for the midterm elections. Let’s fire up our collective enthusiasm at Keep It Blue in ’22! You’ll have an opportunity to meet fellow activists, learn about ways you can make a difference, and be inspired at this community picnic organized by Act for Democracy, Indivisible Oregon, and United Power. Representative Suzannne Bonamici will be there as well as staff from the campaign offices of Andrea Salinas, running for Congress in District 6, Jamie McLeod-Skinner in District 5, and Tina Kotek in the gubernatorial race. We need all hands on deck to maintain the Democratic majority in the House and Senate and to keep our democracy safe for future generations. Indivisible Tuesdays Going Live!
If you’ve been longing to meet face-to-face again, wait no longer. Beginning September 6, Indivisible Oregon’s bimonthly Indivisible Tuesday events with staffers of Senator Wyden and Representative Blumenauer will return to meeting in person. The format will be much as it was before the pandemic, including squad calls, announcements, and having an opportunity to make statements and ask questions of staff members.
